Congratulations go out to Ming. And EHS would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that participated in the competition. For reference, the competition is described below: The ChallengeEnvironmental Health and Safety (EHS) is very interested in challenging the Mizzou student population to develop a new logo for the department to be unveiled during the week of July 11-15, when EHS celebrates its 25th anniversary. We are looking for a flexible design that can be used in various locations including EHS letterhead, vehicles, clothing, web site (http://ehs.missouri.edu), forms, other EHS correspondence and print ads. Entrants are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the mission of EHS by exploring our web site. The RewardEHS will present a $250 stipend to the person who designs the logo we select for use. The winner will be required to sign a release allowing the University to retain the intellectual property rights for use of the logo. The DetailsSubmissions are limited to students currently enrolled by the University of Missouri – Columbia. The deadline for submissions is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2005. Entries can be submitted in person (Environmental Health and Safety Office, 8 Research Park Development Building, [which is the white brick building across the parking lot from the entrance to the baseball stadium]), by campus mail (Todd Houts, EHS, 8 RPDB) or electronically to . Electronic submissions must be in PDF, JPEG, or Photoshop format. EHS cannot be responsible for late or misdirected submissions. The logo should contain a graphic element that can be used alone or in conjunction with "EHS" or "Environmental Health and Safety." The graphic element SHOULD NOT contain the MU logo. Entries will be judged on applicability for described intended uses, scalablility, adaptability to the intended medium (including presentation in full color or monochromatically) and overall aesthetics.
