General Laboratory Safety

The purpose of this class is to discuss general laboratory safety practices and emergency procedures. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, emergency procedures, labeling, storage, personal protective equipment, safety equipment, trip hazards, and professionalism in the laboratory.

Heat Related Illnesses

This course was designed to show signs,symptoms, care, and prevention of heat related illnesses. The course topics include, but are not limited to, the three types of heat related illnesses, signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, care for heat related illnesses, preventing heat related illnesses, and preventing sun exposure (optional).

Severe Weather Safety

The purpose of this course is to discuss safety policies and precautions to take during severe weather conditions. The following is an outline of the topics that are covered:
