Swimming/Therapy Pools

The University maintains both swimming and therapy pools. These pools are maintained in accordance with current regulatory and professional guidelines. All pools are inspected monthly while they are open and in operation. Inspections include a visual examination of the pool and facilities, water chemistry, and a bacteriological test.

It is the responsibility of all pool personnel to be familiar with the Pool Manual, which covers elements such as training, water maintenance, equipment maintenance, emergency preparedness, and safety. Any concerns or questions about any of the university pools should be directed to the EHS Sanitarian. Likewise, any accidents at the pools should be directed to the Sanitarian for investigation and follow up. Our goal is to be sure that students and other patrons have a safe and healthy experience.
