The purpose of this class is to educate employees about the existence of confined spaces, the type of hazardous conditions that can be present in them and the basic requirements for entry into permit-required confined spaces.

All employees that could approach a confined space are required to complete this training program initially and then again every three years.

This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal.  If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal. The Confined Space Entry Awareness course is comprised of one module:  EHS710 Confined Space Entry Awareness Training.  You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
