The purpose of this class is to educate employees who enter, supervise entry or attend the entry of a confined space about the practices and procedures necessary to protect employees from the hazards of permit required confined spaces.

All employees that could approach a confined space are required to complete this training program initially and then again every three years.

This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal.  If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal.  The training should take about 20 minutes to complete. The Confined Space - Permit Required course is comprised of one module:  EHS711 Confined Space -  Required Training.  You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
