The purpose of this class is to prepare workers to work safely with and around electricity.  This class does not address arc-flash hazards and controls, lock-out/tag-out procedures, or high voltage (220V or 440V) electrical safety.

This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal.  If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal.  The training should take about 20 minutes to complete. The Electric Safety course is comprised of one module:  EHS736 Electrical Safety Training.  You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
