The purpose of this class is to enable the student to gain an understanding of the proper use and care of the required or requested respirator, recognition of specific air contaminant hazards, and medical monitoring requirements. All employees are required to complete the training prior to wearing respirators at the time of the quantitative fit-test. 

This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal.  If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal.  The training should take about 20 minutes to complete. The Respiratory Protection course is comprised of one module:  EHS743 Respiratory Protection Training. You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment or quiz to receive credit for this course.
