The purpose of this class is to enable learners to recognize basic types of supported and suspended scaffolds and their capacity requirements; identify who is qualified to design, construct, and inspect scaffolds, recognize hazards posed by scaffolds work and identify requirements and safe practices for working safely from scaffolds.
This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal. If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal. The Scaffold Safety course is comprised of one module: EHS730 Scaffold Safety Training. You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
