Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan Training (EHS600)
The purpose of this self-paced, online course is to introduce the concepts of spill prevention, spill control, and countermeasures to the campus community.
This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal. If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal. The training should take about 30 minutes to complete. You should turn off pop-up blockers before clicking the link below to begin the training.
The SPCC course is comprised of one module: EHS600 SPCC Training. You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
Lead Awareness (EHS630)
The purpose of this class is to enable students to gain an understanding of lead bearing substances policy, health effects, operational sources, detection, work practices, controls and resources. All personnel that interact with existing campus building materials (demolition, renovation, maintenance, repair, etc.) need to attend this class.

The Lead Awareness course is comprised of one module: EHS630 Lead Awareness Training. You must complete the module and score at a minimum 80% on the assessment to receive credit for this course.
Asbestos Awareness (EHS610)
The purpose of this class is to enable the student to gain an understanding of asbestos health effects, locations of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) or Presumed Asbestos Containing Material (PACM), recognition of ACM danger or deterioration, housekeeping requirements, and proper response to fiber release episodes. All housekeeping, mechanics, and maintenance personnel need to attend this class annually.

Environmental Management (EHS620)
The purpose of this class is to enable the student to gain an understanding of Environmental Management pertaining to hazardous waste. During this presentation you will learn the basics of hazardous waste contamination recognition, reduce the risk to humans and the environment, and basic steps of emergency response notifications.
