Fire Prevention and Portable Fire Extinguisher Use (EHS151)
Fire Prevention and Portable Fire Extinguisher Use training is a new course that replaces our existing Fire Extinguisher Training. The objective of this course is to introduce the campus community to fire prevention techniques as well as the proper selection and use of fire extinguishers.
This course is hosted by HSI and can be found in EHS Assistant Training Portal. If the training course is not assigned to you it can also be found under "Additional Resources" in the HSI portal. The training should take about 1 hour to complete. You should turn off pop-up blockers before clicking the link below to begin the training.
The Fire Prevention and Portable Fire Extinguisher course is comprised of two modules: EHS152 Emergency and Fire Preparedness training, and EHS151 Portable Fire Extinguisher Safety Training. You must complete both modules and score at a minimum 80% on each assessment or quiz to receive credit for this course.
